It's Hammond :) and it looks like Chad Ford knew what he was talking about in his chat yesterday.

This is excellent news.

It shouldn't be lost in the story that Krystkowiak is a "virtual certainty" to be fired as a more experienced head coach is sought. Another dose of good news for the Bucks. I think Hammond's rep should help the Bucks get that type of head coach.

Thread title needs to be edited.

Says they will bring in a vet coach. Wouldn't be shocked at all if it was Larry Brown. Be interesting to see what the financial details are.

Well, this sounds good at least. Im just not sure this changes a damn thing yet. I'll wait to see if we actually decide to bring in an experienced coach like the article says.

Clearly this is a joke, but im just saying, Terry Porter has been coaching with the pistons the past couple years ...

Good to hear....I am a bit suprised, but I had heard that he wanted to be offered the job not pursue it.

Seems like a very positive step!

Wow, huge. I'm very excited for this development, but the proof will be in the pudding. What type of control will he have? Will he run the draft? Sign his own coach?

Wow! I didn't see this coming at all - Kohl made a good choice? Fantastic! I hope he actually lets him do his job now. If we can emulate what he was part of in Detroit, things will finally start looking up for the Bucks.

So was it ever cleared up as to who was the main guy behind the Darko pick?
If not Hammond what was his stance on it?

Good stuff. Now hire a good coach and we are on our way to something positive in Milwaukee.
"I just wanted to play because I just love the game," Jennings said. "It doesn't matter to me. I get up to play basketball. It's my job. I have to still be a professional and finish the season."
