Is this Theo guy better than Calderon?

Is is he the new Sarunas who bombed with the Pacers?

How old is he again?

I think I'd take Duhon/Sessions over Theo.

He had an off year and he's getting older, so I'm not as excited about him now as I was when I first brought up his name in the summer of 06, but I still think he would have been effective running point for about 25 minutes a game.

Papaloukas is not better than Calderon for the NBA, and if he were to be used like Sauranas was here (at shooting guard) he'd be just as ineffective.

he is older now, but i would have loved to see what Papaloukas could do in the NBA a few seasons ago. A very exciting point guard. And would cause mis-matches with his height as well. Might have been pretty special.

I still think he could help a lot, but certainly not at that price.

given a choice of ersan or Luke's papa, I think I like luke's papa better . i know most bucks fans would be calling him papa lucas, but I' m kind of backwards and out of touch, So I'd call him Luke's Papa

No clue if the last quote made by Ersan in this article from today has any relevance at all, but thought I'd post it

Yeah Ersan should just keep his mouth closed, he's killing Mo's trade value.

Ersan finished with 16 points (6/8 fg, 2/3 3fg, 2/2 ft) in 16 minutes today. He's averaged 14.8 ppg in 23.5 mpg over his last four games.

Pretty impressive. I would still rather have the rights to Ersan then Ryan Gomes.

Yep and the key is he's being efficient too with his scoring. Overall on the season in the 34 ACB games so far he's shooting 44 for 87 from 2's (51%) and 31 for 77 on 3's (40%), overall shooting 45% from FG on the season

Looks like the ACB playoffs are starting up within the next week as well, so hopefully we see the same consistency from Ersan and AXA can go far.

Very encouraging. I think that gives him an efg of 55%.

Barcelona has advanced to the semis of the ACB playoffs by beating Bilbao in consecutive games. Ersan had 8/5 (23 min) in the first game and 14/7 (26 min) in the second.

We shall see if Ersan ever has as good of an NBA season as Gomes has had (back to back 12/6 seasons at 46% FG). For now, that is a pretty bold statement.

Gomes was on the 2nd worst team in the league last year and the third worst team this year.

True, but that doesn't take away from what kind of season he had. This comes back to the whole, "any production on bad teams is irrelevant" discussion we had a while ago.

Gomes is a pretty solid role player. If Ersan comes back to Milwaukee and has a Gomes-type season, I'd be elated.

Barcelona would be idiotic to part ways with Ersan at this point. He's playing fantastic down the stretch.
