Solid. The thing that really makes me think Kohl at least gave the majority of the power to Hammond is this. Hammond has obviously been a candidate for multiple gm positions and has obviously been interested in that type of position. With the way Larry Harris was allowed to conduct himself here, and the results that came with it, can anyone say he'll be hired again any time in the near future? I just don't think Hammond would come here for something which could close a lot of doors for him further into his career.

Here's to Carlisle or JVG in Milwaukee.

Seems like an awesome, awesome hire for you guys. Carlisle would be icing on the cake. Woelful is saying Van Gundy is also a possibility which would be a great hire as well.

The J/S has just reported that the Detroit Pistons are an NBA team in the Eastern Conference though they cannot confirm yet if Detroit is actually in Michigan.

More on this story as it develops.

I'd be thrilled if Carlisle got the job. I'd be absolutely elated if Van Gundy got it.

Well finally! :banghead:

We do something right!

Now go get Larry Brown, Rick Carisle or Jeff Van Gundy in that order if not look at Dave Cowens and Terry Porter again..

and we can be on our way back....ON THE WINNING TRACK!

I'm not going to be too upset if he isn't because I would like the new head coach, with some consultation with the new GM, to be able to bring in whoever he wants to on his staff.

It's time for Brian James and Jim Todd to move on though.

Actually Woelfel didn't have much to add at all. He said the Bucks have interest in Carlisle, Brown and Van Gundy but that Brown wanted full control so it's unlikely he would coach here. That's about all he had to say.

And Gary said Hammond should bring Porter with him to return as head coach.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I think I have to go back to the eve of the 2005 draft when the Bucks were about to pick Bogut and got the news that Ford was going to return to recall the last time I was this excited about the future of this team. It's been a painfully awful past two seasons as a Bucks fan but this really is a good day. A very good day.

This is a great GM hire but I hope Krystkowiak gets one more year.

I didn't even think about who Brown was an assistant under in Detriot-Rick Carlisle.

I wonder if they will keep Yi's guy (Jarinn Akana) around.

So we get Hammond followed most likely by Carlisle or Van Gundy? I think I'd prefer LH and LK.

Whats with all the dumb callers on the show. Especially the last guy saying give the coach a chance lol. Anyway I guarntee Carlisle will be the coach. I wanted Carlisle to be the coach last seaosn for the Bucks. Also I thought he was a better coach then Larry Brown and Flip Sanders and the Pistons were dumb to fire him.
