Shogun season two is gonna be a thing.

Not sure how I feel about this. What more story is there to tell with these characters?
I hope it's a different book. Shogun is arguably the 3rd best of the Asian Saga.

This isn't some new observation, but we're right on the cusp of being right back where we were 10-15 years ago with bloated cable TV bills.

Max, Disney+, and Hulu have combined in a bundle, no price announced yet but I'm guessing somewhere in the area of $40.

Now Peacock, Netflix and Apple have joined forces. (I'm not even sure how those corpos got together, wasn't aware of a common parent company). Guessing around same price, $40-50.

Add to that Prime, Ballys (or Amazon Ballys add on) and you're approaching that fat $125-150 cable bill we had 15 years ago.

Oh well, first world problems.

We've been in the "Nostalgia Content" age of TV and filmmaking for quite some time now, and I'm fascinated to see how long it lasts before it caves in on itself due to fatigue. Marvel is already scaling back this year. but it's also probably only a matter of time before they cut those fat checks to all the original cast members and beg them to come back to make Avengers 5: Electric Boogaloo....

Not gonna read any of the reviews, but the instant reactions and scores are calling Furiosa a masterpiece worthy of (if not better than) Fury Road. I'm gonna see this movie at least two dozen times.

I see Outer Range is back today and they dropped the entire season. I really liked the first season, but the whole release at once is so dumb.

I am completely shocked at the lack of buzz for this movie. It was absolutely hilarious with one liners galore, has two enormously popular and fun leads, some of the best live action stunts littering the entire movie, and a soundtrack that simultaneously ROCKS and adds to comedic elements.

I feel like this is a movie I'm gonna watch at home 10x. I've recommended it to multiple people who both side-eyed me upon the rec AND who later told me what a blast it was.

I loved this movie WAY more than expected and hope it gets its legs. I feel like it should at the very least be a cult classic and my disappointment in its box office results is palpable. This is the movie I want Hollywood to make, but now know it won't because for some reason 5x more ppl go see Godzilla/Kong 4: let me out.

I'll have to re-watch at least parts of season 1. I believe I liked the first half and didn't like the second half but I'm not sure.

This feels like almost the exact mistake GoT made, but they made a good enough first season that I'm still excited for it.

Weird seeing the fawning reviews a day after it came out FFC was a serial sexual assaulter on set.

From what I've seen that seems pretty unsubstantiated so far.

I don't think is a fawning review, it's pretty mixed. Most I've seen have been like this if not downright befuddled and hostile. I just like big swings.

As for "serial sexual assaulter", I just looked up what was alleged and if that's as bad as it was, it's inappropriate, but you had me thinking he was Weinstein.

Yea, I should have waited and checked out the RT score. My timeline was filled with masterpiece talk around 3:00 pm today.
