Phoenix - Toronto - Brooklyn

Phoenix trade: Nurkic, 22
Phoenix receive: Boucher, Sharpe

Brooklyn trade: Sharpe
Brooklyn receive: McDaniels, 31

Toronto trade: Boucher, Mcdaniels, 31
Toronto receive: Nurkic, 22

Why for Phoenix: Get more depth and athleticism in the front court
Why for Brooklyn: get a pick for sharpe instead of losing him for nothing next yr (probably cant keep him if they want multiple max spaces)
Why for Toronto: get a late first in value (diff between 22 and 31) for eating an extra 22M. Add a tank commander at C to open up potential Poeltl trade down the road

The Nets want the Suns to be trapped, no?

I was thinking Nurkic was making more than he is. I can't see how Toronto turns this down. A extra $3 million and change to get the better PF/C in Nurk plus getting a better pick seems like Toronto is getting the best deal here

Site I looked at didn't have that last year. Still I think it's probably too much for Toronto. I don't see them being a player in the FA market especially resigning Quickley. Nurkic gives Toronto a rental to showcase at the deadline next year who easily would get more than Boucher and McDaniels

So the Suns downgrade at C and lose their 1st rounder for some (questionable) depth.

Remove the 1st at very least and even then it is doubtful from Suns' point of view.

I like it, if Brooklyn has agreement with Claxton and they like Clowney, then Sharpe seems redundant.
The team I like it least for is TOR, with Poeltl, Nurkic doesn't make a lot if sense.

Toronto should do the straight deal with Brooklyn once Phoenix says no.

I think Brooklyn holds onto Sharpe at this value (this is all he is worth imo) until Claxton is locked up.

And think Phoenix shouldn’t downgrade. I don’t think they lost because of depth, they lost because they were the worse team..

Sharpe was actually better than Clax for long stretches this season

I’d actually s &t Clax if the rumoured contract figures are correct
