Week 18 Thread - Washington

Just heard Johnathan Hankins will be back in the line up this week. Should be a boost for our run defense. Also now healthy, Rico Dowdle should give us a boost in the running game.
For me this is a playoff game for us for all the reasons I'm sure you guys are all aware of. Take care of business and get the #2 seed. If the Niners slip up somehow, there is a possibility we could host the NFC championship game. So once again, just take care of fu..ing business this week and don't let it come down to Mike McCarthy having to make time and game management decisions.

I’m still nervous that this is a division game. Also the fact that this is likely the last game that Ron Rivera ever coaches. He likely retires after the season. He definitely won’t be back in Washington coaching. So they do have some motivation to win this game.

On the other hand, if they lose they are locked in to the #2 pick I believe. If they win I believe the highest pick they could get is the 5th pick. That would meaning losing out on the top 2 QB’s and Marvin Jr. That’s huge.

This is the closest thing we've had to a "must win game" this season.

It's really important. I think if we win this game we will likely make it to the NFC Championship game. Where we will play the 49ers and likely lose, but you never know. Maybe the ball will bounce our way.

The NFL hates the Cowboys, after going after Lamb with a drugtest to deflect attention from their refs.
Washington hates the Cowboys even more.Could NY beat Philly...
Wont be surprised if its a close game but we will win with Hankins back.No more injuries !
Dall 30 Wash 17

At this point in the season I just want to win. Its been 28 years and that is long enough. Take this game serious today and let get to a Super Bowl. I want that feeling of going to the Super Bowl again.

Even just reaching the NFC title game is a success IMO.

Just reach the NFC title game and let's see what happens.

I think this Cowboys team is still lacking some pieces to be considered a real Super Bowl team.

True.

If Rams beat Lions then it's Dallas vs. Eagles or Bucs.

That was the crappy version of the Rams.Them, and GB are the hottest teams going into the playoffs.
Thank God Hankins is back.
They are already, and correctly saying that Love is a lot like Rodgers.
We should win if we stop their run game enough, and our Db,s should benefit from Micahs, and etc pressure on Love.
