Yup. Hopefully he got the early jitters out of the way and comes out more even keel on the 2nd possession. Niners are pretty lucky to not have a turnover that possession, let alone get 3 point out of it.

3 passes on that possession could have easily been picked. The slant to Aiyuk was behind him, and the screen to Deebo was behind as well.

Just kick it through the endzone. STs is one of the areas where they could break a big play and equalize this. Why even take the chance?

Smith tried to grab Gipson's face mask and he got yanked down by the same arm. Wish more defenders would do that when runners try to get away with an offensive face mask.
