Jordy Nelson gets released.

We release AJ after giving up a draft pick for him. Let's starting thinking more high of our draft picks.

Those are some amazing career bests considering he had no protection from the o-line. I love Dc and hope he sticks around for the long run! We have seen his potential(thinking back to our #2 seed a couple years back) and we can see he can still complete passes and pout up numbers without a solid supporting offense! Gruden and Carr! Let's make it happen!

Josh Allen seems to be our guy in the draft but the Jets are rumored to take him with the third pick. Josh Allen or Quinnen Williams is who I would like for us to draft.

Free agent RB Isaiah Crowell will visit the Raiders on Thursday.

This will be Crowell's first visit since being released by the Jets 12 days ago after the team signed Le'Veon Bell. Per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, coach Jon Gruden is "hoping" to add Crowell to the Raiders' backfield mix.

Won’t raiders look to trade out of this draft to add picks to next years draft in Las Vegas?

Everyone says all defense but if they use the picks the roster is certainly in need of bpa and not draft for need

Yeah don't like the sound of that at all. I'd rather a surefire can't miss thing with our top draft pick for a pass rusher.

But I'm leaning we might trade it back/down for more picks in the 1st round.

The NY Jets are rumored to like Ed Oliver with the 3rd overall pick, and will select him, unless they find a trade partner to move down

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports the Raiders are considering "some sort of surprise pick" at No. 4 overall that would "necessitate absolute secrecy."

Per Rapoport, a pick that "we are not expecting" seems to be in the offing. Forced to speculate on who that might be, Rapsheet mentioned LSU LB Devin White, a quarterback or offensive lineman. The Raiders, who are still looking to replace Khalil Mack, are in a defensive line-rich part of the board, but coach Jon Gruden has made it clear he is listening to no one but himself. Gruden is fast developing into the second coming of Al Davis.
