apparently the vikings are not planning on picking up the 5th year option on mike hughes

and agreed to a 1 year, $2.5m deal with stephen weatherly

riley reiff has been released, so now we're in the market for a left tackle

unless o'neill or cleveland are moved over. i guess a lot of guards have been released by other teams so maybe we could get a couple of those

It's sounds like the most likely scenario is that O'Neill or Cleveland will be the left tackle, but however they shuffle it, the Vikings definitely need to invest in an offensive lineman.

colquitt has restructured, saving the team about 1.3m

have about 10m in cap space now, free agency next week

the bad news is that danielle hunter is upset with his contract and apparently is willing to go scorched earth to fix it. i've seen trade request, hold out, and even firing his agent

he's a top pass rusher when he's healthy but neck injuries can be troublesome. do we extend him and get him more money or is there a good enough deal where you move him? i mean our pass rush can't get any worse at this point

brought back rashod hill on a one-year deal, fully guaranteed. haven't seen the amount yet, but probably not a lot (made about a million last year)

Apparently we signed a DT named Dalvin Tomlinson from the Giants.

don't know anything about him other than he's a big boy. probably are big deal of free agency unless we can find some more money elsewhere

also a chargers lb named nick vigil, never heard of him either

People seem to think Tomlinson is pretty good. It will be interesting to see two run stopping DT's in the middle, but we still need to make sure we have a functional pass rush and secondary. Maybe health (Hunter) and natural growth from our young corners will do that, but it's an unknown.

whoa, signed patrick peterson! 1 year, $10m

that seems like a pretty big move, is peterson still really good? it will be nice to have some veteran presence back there for the young guys.

Patrick Peterson is definitely surprising and we can use a veteran CB. I'm feeling pretty good about the defense, although we could still probably use a pass rusher.

traded a 6th rounder for mason cole. looks like he's just been ok in his three years. might be depth for bradbury, and the guard spots if they need to
