I’m proclaiming the Fickell era a success. This is fantastic.

Eh, that shovel pass TD should have been called dead ball. That QB had both knees on the ground.

In any event, this was an incredibly bizarre situation where a team that had no business in a bowl got one, and played the game with a new high profile coach, while at the same time the starting QB had already transferred out.

But it also was super valuable. Gave Fickell a chance to see all these guys in game action eight months early. And they to see him. Was awesome. Sky's the limit in the years ahead.
