Not sure if the rain helps or hurts us.

Conditions are sloppy. It’s been raining on and off for 2 days here. In the trenches, I believe the 9ers have the edge and therefore rain may benefit them (happy to be wrong about that).

I’ll be at Levi’s with my poncho. Incredibly stoked! GO PACK GO!!!

What's the reason for not starting the NFL season in August? Why not move everything up a month?

They think August would be lower viewers. At one point they started Labor Day weekend but viewership was low so they pushed it to the second weekend of September.

Soon there will be 18 games and it will go further into February.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I'm not sure how much it matters but Brock has a 9.25" hand while Love has a 10.5"

So sloppy conditions could help us slightly?

Weather can be a talent equalizer when it's bad so I say bring it on.

Yup, this is a avoid punting unless absolutely necessary type game.

Yeah, as always, our best chance to win is to sustain drives and keep their O off the field. The D can’t win it for us. Can’t have 3-and-outs.

I was thinking a rainy game was a huge advantage for the 49ers, but you've turned me around on that one.

How does Jones do in rain? Does he still have his normal burst and speed?

For me that's a factor.

Rain generally slows down the pass rush and hurts speed players who rely on change of direction. So I think Jones #s may suffer but Love gets a little more time in the pocket. If he's accurate should have time to pick on their lesser secondary players and linebackers.

Rain also generally means more turnovers, increasing variance imo is better for the underdog.

Edit: might be a game where Dillon is missed, being a north/south power back he might have been perfect for crap weather
