Steve Kerr - This group can be "Special."

Should we anticipate a deep playoff run with this group (Now, minus Corey Joseph)? Or, is he talking out of his arse? Because nothing special has happened -- like, at all -- this whole season.

The alternative is for him to say "This group sucks and I've been drinking more lately because of it." Lulz.

Of course he is talking from his arse.

We are out of the play-in special with his dumb coaching.

Capturing 8th seed should be the immediate goal and at only 3.5 games out, it's totally doable. Then win one game and go play the big boys.

IMO the top 4 in the West aren't really anything special (except maybe Denver), but they are certainly better than the Ws.

Kerr knows his ****. This is a team full of champions that knows how pointless the regular season is. They have been coasting all year. They can flip a switch whenever they feel like.

This team can be good. Just need to have the right rotation
Most 4th Quarter Points in Final since 1991
1995 Shaquille O'Neal 11.5
2000 Shaquille O'Neal 11.5 (61.1% TS)
2015 Stephen Curry 10.8 (75.1% TS)
1997 Michael Jordan 10.7 (55.1% TS)
1998 Michael Jordan 10.6 (50.6% TS)
2011 Dirk Nowitzki 10.3 (68.0% TS)

Someone being confident is good but stating this team can be special as they aren't even in the playin makes me question if Steve is actually all there upstairs. He sounds like a politician parroting nonsense.

Any team with Curry on it can be special.

Kerr is correct at least on offense.

Needing Draymond to play center for us to be special might to be sustainable.
I will settle for a fist round plaoff victory. Wouldn’t knocking off the Clippers be fun.

This group's success really hinges on Kerr's coaching imo.He needs to figure out what to do with the vets (play them less, limit Klay's shot selection) and a clear gameplan for the rest of the guys. There's enough talent across the roster and you still have a superstar player to make a good run.

Well, the group was certainly special tonight, mainly SC30.

This doesn't seem like the same team from a month ago

Wiggs looks like he's healthy and checked back in.
Kuminga has taken a giant stride
Klay is acknowledging his decline.
Green is showing a level of self control.
Kerr is making adjustments.
Podz has stepped up in CP3's absence
Gui, LQ, TJD all showing out at times.

Once Jerome is firing on all cylinders we're back to being contenders

And CP3 is soon to return. And that's means 30 minutes of playing time each game, starting often, and always closing. Why? Because Kerr thinks he's needed to "unlock" Steph Curry.

This is a big stretch for Kerr as a coach. 6 of 7 games against conference opponents. Can he meld what we have to make a statement right now?

Or will it be one of those stop-start streaks, where he talks about how winning 3 games against those “tough” teams shows how special we are.
This movie is like the Rocky Horror Picture Show where everyone knows all the lines.
