Shooting Guard Klay Thompson blocked 12 shots. It is one shy of our CENTER'S TOTAL - Kevon Looney and Dario Saric combined of 13 blocks. So what is the biggest need?
Starting center Kevon Looney is #165 in Blocks and #225 in Points! Find any other team with such a starting center...

Last game: Points in the paint 50-78, Klay 4-6 2P, 4-9 3P, 2-2 Ft, 1 blk, 22 pts, team-high +11.

You fans are crazy and Steve Kerr went blind or something.

You give TJD 25 minutes per game and he's probably putting up 10 pts, 6 reb, 1.5 blk immediately, and 14/8/2+ by the end of the season.

Interesting.

If tjd gets the back up C minutes with cp3, it causes a domino effect. Tjd is our best big partner for cp3.

Saric moves to the 4? He's pretty useless as a defensive C.

Our defense continuously breaks down when we have someone that is lost. Saric in this case, klay in others, amd sometimes steph. Tjd would be a huge improvement over saric as the C.

If saric moves to the 4, then jk is stuck since he's been the primary back up 4. Hopefully this ends the klay or wiggins at the 4.

Playing non-jumpers Looney and Saric at center position totally ruins the vertical part of the basketball game. It is unbelievable that the Warriors roster is constructed that way (the tallest players are draft PF projects), and it is crazy that someone even hoped it could work.
The best shooter ever on display and his work and talent is wasted cause of an athletic incompetence at C position.
Just imagine the reverse extreme: a team with dominant inside scoring, say Shaq, and no 3pt shooters around him.

I think we would all like to see TJD get some more time. As long as the roster looks well short of a contender, unless there is a trade the lone hope is that a young player blossoms. TJD at his age is a good candidate, he needs minutes.

Such a fail by Myers not getting Goga. I was even proposing trades for him before he got waived... by the time he was a FA we were down to just JMG as our backup big.

That being said... I do think Trayce/Garuba can have a similar impact if given the time (even though they are a bit smaller)

Till now Bitadze played 20 minutes less than Kevon this season. He reached 35 blocks, in one game he blocked 7 shots - as much as Kevon's total for this season. Oh, 37 year old 6-0 Kyle Lowry matches Kevon's blocks...

Looney --> minutes: 495, blocks: 7
TJD --> minutes: 102, blocks: 7

Blocks per minute:
Bitadze: 2.9
TJD: 2.5

Everyone keeps looking for some shot-blocker to acquire but we already have a decent one on the roster (who will likely only get better)! And we don't need to give up any trade assets. TJD was #4 in the entire NCAAB in blocks last year.

Bitadze is starter and TJD was backup so TJD would be improvement for sure but it is unclear if it will be enough. Jokic, Embiid, Giannis, AD, Porzingis...

If Warriors do make a trade with Toronto....they could nab Jocob as well....he'd be a legit beasty center for certain matchups.

I'm actually all in on Goga Bitadze. Was very high on him pre-draft. Dude has been killing it this year. Exactly the kind of player we need.

I was right about 3 point shooting. I expect to be right about Tacko Fall. Some coach will figure out how to use Tacko Fall. This movement towards undersized centers will sweep ng back. Back to the basket scorers will return to the NBA.

TJD blocked Beal's shot. Something unbelievable at Warriors center position.

TJD is small and needs time to build his frame

TJD alone is small but pairing him with Draymond promises a capable defensive force. As far as GSW roster, there is no other PF+C combination at top NBA level.

What about Gafford + Avdija for Wiggins. $$ match and we could loosen a CP3 pick protection

Can't imagine Wizards would deal with us again after unloading Poole on them.... and the way Wiggins has played I think we'd have to add a draft pick or two.

But those players would definitely fit our team and help. And it's also a rare scenario of a poison pill contract that doesn't need a 3rd team so thats kind of cool. 8-)

Now might be a good time to try and get Isaiah Jackson from the Pacers. They obviously have Turner at center while Jalen Smith and Jackson have provided the depth. But they look pretty good this year and seem to be looking to upgrade their forward position. Depending on how the next month goes, could be something there.

Draymond is not going anywhere. He is the cornerstone.
First time I heard about Isaiah Jackson... checking youtube - he would help for sure.
