Nobody can miss this game. I guess it's one of those games where everyone is locked in to just chuck 3s and head to all star break

So looks like klay going to the bench, he gets closing minutes in return.

Wiggins is now the closing odd man out.

Finally, Kerr has put Klay in a position to succeed. Finally.

Lester over him? I mean I like lester but one of these players is a lottery pick. Such a shame

Lester does things Moody can't do. I think we're sandbagging Moody so we can sign him cheap on his next contract. Not a bad idea tbh.

Teams are figuring it out.

They aren't biting on pumps and just walling up. And he's given that westbrook cushion when he has the ball at the 3 pt line.

NO

YES

See that would be a Kerr problem. I’m not rooting against Klay thriving in a role that fits his current abilities.

Huh? That's not the impression I got at all. If anything it's making Kerr look smart and Klay showing out might mean he's more willing to embrace this role going forwards. 20-25 mpg mostly against second units and then the hottest two of Wig/Klay/JK will close. Makes sense to me.

Klay seemed fine with it. He just wanted to talk about how good he was.

Melo and amare should thrive in this offense. If Jeremy Tyler and cole Aldridge looked that good in summer league then us knick fans have a lot to be excited about. Make room for all the bandwagoners when we take off

That's not good. Some people here told me he was untouchable.

How Utah shot lights out from 3 and still down 13 is remarkable.

We've been working towards this for a while. You don't just bench a franchise icon. Most important thing is that it went well, and so far it has. Now maybe it'll stick.

What guarantee is there he will play next season? All the players in rotation now will be on the team next season. Unless the let Klay walk if I were Moody I am not signing the extension and picking up the QO

Edit: Actually he is not restricted yet but I won't sign still

I don’t think Lester minutes have anything to do Moody. Paul is hurt, CoJo is gone, and Podz is now starting. He’s a backup combo guard. Moody is stuck behind Wiggins, Kuminga, Klay and GP2.

He'd love nothing more than to let it fly, but he knows if he shoots a 3 with more than 1 second left on the shot clock, he goes to the bench. It's a Kerr mandate, not a Kuminga problem.

It won't. He'll be starting the first game out of the All Star break.

Podz is getting cooked defensively.
