Nicky Saban is losing it

Post#1 » by UrbanLegendMD » Tue Nov 20, 2007 6:27 pm

"Changes in history usually occur after some kind of catastrophic event," Saban said during the opening remarks of his weekly news conference. "It may be 9-11, which sort of changed the spirit of America relative to catastrophic events. Pearl Harbor kind of got us ready for World War II, or whatever, and that was a catastrophic event."

Catastrophic
First the federal government borrowed money; then gave the money to Bank of America; then I borrowed some of that money from Bank of America and gave it to the federal government; then the federal government gave the money back to Bank of America.

You know what the worst part of this is? Look at how freaking serious he is, like he genuinely has no concept of just how wildly inappropriate or hyperbolic his comments are.

I told y'all the guy was freaking nuts!!

The last shred of respect I had for this guy is officially gone.

I can't believe he compared his team's collapse to 9 friggin' 11!

That's not in his mental capacity. I'll give you an example:

When he was coaching Michigan State, he made the Spartans get out of playing his former team (Toledo) because they didn't pay him a $25K bonus for winning the MAC title. They tied for the title with Central Michigan, but the Chips got the bowl berth because they beat Toledo that year, so technically they didn't win the MAC. He held onto that bitterness for 5 long years, and I've heard he went out of his way to poach potential Toledo recruits just to spite the Rockets even though he was coaching in the Big Ten.

That should give you an idea of exactly how deranged and sociopathic Nick Saban is.

i just hope they can win the iron bowl, this team has fallen apart since collapsing at the end of the LSU game, we need to get it back on track
