Doesn't Notre Dame play on NBC every week?

But most importantly, LET'S GO VANDY!

Don't put a lot of hope on that

NBC has an exclusive contract with Notre Dame to air all of their games. IIRC it was a 5-year deal that they signed a few years ago. NBC has no choice but to air the games. And if you notice, they are the only college football games NBC airs.
This space needs to be filled with a new sig...but I'm too lazy to make one.

Weis went for it on 4th and 17 in the 2nd quarter. It's "interesting" to be a ND fan this year.

They play 7 at home and 5 on the road. Just like most big schools these days (Michigan, Florida, OSU). Illinois does too. They played a schedule front-loaded with road games, so there's been a lot of home ones recently.

Amazing how it seemed that our NC hopes went down the drain after losing to SFL. We'd be undefeated right now if we didn't lose Pat White for that game.

Can't wait to see us in the National Championship.

??

WVUs not going to the NC. Even if they did LSU would murk them.

WVU would probably get "murked" by anyone in the top 25.

Did anyone see that WVU player running down the field celebrating with Mauk (the Cincy QB) after they scored? What the hell was he thinking?

What a wonderful day!

Ohio State defense absolutely annihilates Michigan. Mike Hart gets 41 yards on 18 carries, and 2 of his carries netted 29. Chad Henne looked awful, but he was not helped by Mario Manningham, who was officially credited with 4 drops but actually had 7 passes hit his hands that he failed to catch.

The difference was Beanie Wells, who ran with the patient explosiveness of a young Ahman Green. Thanks to Brandent Englemon, who got run over on both TD runs and also missed at least 3 other tackles. Tressel drove me a little nuts by not even trying to score after the tally went to 14-3, but that's vintage Tressel ball.

Alabama and the traitorous agent of evil Nick Saban lose at home to LA-Monroe, a team that got spanked by North Texas, the only game UNT has won all year. Karma's a real nasty witch, ain't she Little Nicky

Georgia finally won a game in which they didn't play real well, something they haven't done much of the past few years. Knowshown Moreno is quite the intriguing freshman and probably finishes in the 8 for the Heisman if he lights up Tennessee.

Illinois looked real good in beating Northwestern. Lots of credit to C Ryan McDonald, who absolutely dominated the middle all day. I thought their secondary once again played quite well, and J Leman continues to impress my scouting eyes.

Va Tech lays the wood to Miami. Oh how badly does Frank Beamer want those last 2 minutes against BC back!!

LSU gets a legit scare from Ole Miss, who apparently found themselves a QB.

TTU is thumping Oklahoma, who have absolutely no answer for Michael Crabtree. It's a very long game they way they chuck the ball around, and between Oklahoma's potent offense and the Red Raiders sometimes awful defense, this one is far from done but would really cap off an excellent day for the Buckeyes. Just as I typed this paragraph TTU scored again to make it 27-7. Now if Cincy could pull off the unlikely but possible comeback against WVU...

Has anyone figured out why Jeremy Leman goes by "J" and Isaiah Williams goes by "Juice"?

Williams was dubbed "Juice" by his grandmother because of his large size as a child. "I was kind of big

Isaiah bought me orange juice once, so I gave him that nickname.

Matthew Stafford didn't play well. Our running backs got theirs and our defense dominated. We turned the ball over 4 times and we still held a Kentucky offense that scores almost 40 a game to 13.

And Moreno is as impressive a freshman as I have seen in a long time. If I had to find something he doesn't amaze at it would be e doesn't have quite the break away speed of Thomas Brown. Not that he's slow. Other than that, wow. He'll be a Heisman candidate as long as he's on the field.
