That and the whole "lets put a billboard about USC's greatness, across the street from the LSU campus"

That may have rubbed me the wrong way, because I think if it had been USC to win the title and LSU claiming a shared title, It would not have even been considered.

Well, to be fair, I absolutely think USC deserves to be able to claim a national championship that year. Not that LSU doesn't deserve it, it's your typical split title year.

What are you talking about with the billboard though? If they literally bought a billboard by LSU's campus to brag, that's just beyond lame.

Their was a lot of talk about a possible 3-peat, and Justin Vincent said something about it being only a 1-peat right now :)

Here it is, though the image is broke and only the thumbnail is visible:
Here

here is what it says though:
34 wins
4 BCS bowls
3 Heisman Trophies
2 National Champions
1 Pete (Carroll, that is)

The response was this, in Baton Rouge, not in SC territory:

Their are some pretty harsh feelings about USC in Tigerland, which is why Joe Mcknight is all but exiled, and will be unless he A) Transfers or B) Is drafted by the Saints.

I can't wait until we eventually catch them in a Bowl game, and they can feel what SEC football is about.

That really sucks.

I've really have a ton of respect for USC's football team, and I'm not a real rivalry guy, but man my the stereotypes of USC we're indoctrinated with at UCLA seem to hold disturbingly true.

Wisconsin Badgers

2007 will be forever known as the year of the Badger.

One note to remember: Brett Beilema - 2nd year as head coach. Urban Meyer anyone?

Oregon and Oregon State. See a pattern?

It's cool that both teams are well-represented on this board.

Oregon....well, its the local team

OSU...i root for them when they don't play against bOregon

Tennessee.....always been a huge fan. And Brent Schaffer will always be a better QB than Eric Ainge.
