I got back from a family vacation just in time to see the Cards hit SIX home runs and win 10-2. I'm glad they had that game last night and were kind enough to play all their stinkers while I was not paying attention anyway.
Waino...He Da Man!
Oh, and nice to see you again, Mr. Pujols, we've been missing you this year.
Sounds like Maroth has turned into a disappointment after that promising first start. Between him and Carpenter's rehab setback, the pilot light is barely still on for my hopes that we'll make a second-half charge.

Yeah, great game yesterday! But on saturday and friday we played in a so ugly way that aren't words to describe it. There are also some bad news:
1) The Cubs are a serious contender this year
2) Carpenter is not improving
3) Wells with pitch on wednesday, it could mean he'll get a start vs Cubs and another one vs the Brewers.
The good news: Reyes has pitched well in his last game in Triple A. Hope he can get some continuity....I don't believe he is so bad as this year, this guy was one of our top pitching prospect two years ago!
