A lot of there best player are actually homegrown talent and reclamation projects. But they definitely spent mad bread putting elite talent around them.

Dodgers injury roster is like more than 75% other teams total payrolls.

Trevor Bauer - 35mil (stupid)
Clayton Kershaw - 35mil (forearm)
Justin Turner = 17mil (neck)
Max Muncy - 12mil (elbow)
Joe Kelly - 10mil (bicep)
David Price - 16mil (old)
Max Scherzer - 8mil prorated (dead arm)

it's just nuts how snakebit the Dodgers were by injury. They pretty much suffered all of these losses within the last week of the regular season and a player went down every other game as the playoffs progressed.

Baseball of all the sports is where just because you spend the most money doesn't mean it's gonna work out in the end. But atleast they contend every year. I remember in the mid 2000's the NBA salary cap was like 60 mill, the Knicks had a $120 mill payroll. Literally double the cap. And they were trash

The more players you have on a team, the less having a high payroll matters. It’s not inconsequential, but it’s not the end all be all.

Those talking about injuries forget the Braves lost their entire outfield, including a top 5 player in the game in Acuna.

   You're an absolute joke.

The Braves lost their Ace at the onset of the season and lost the best player in the National League mid-season. **** outta here with this nonsense. lmfao at the Joe Kelly and Scherzer additions as well. "Dead arm". Yes bud, it's called the post-season and being outworked because they were struggling. Not even entertaining this further. The rich boys got smoked.

LEGGGOOOOO BRAVES!!!
