Don’t forget Joe Siddle

Siddall can stick around, he seems as frustrated as all of us, and not afraid to criticize the team.

Oh, I know that he’s a critic. And that gets him brownie points. But he’s kind of a nerd. And he speaks too much. And he pronounces every constonant like his life depends on it. He drones and drones, it’s like tinnitus in my ear.

We can build IKF up to 200 IP this year, right? His deal will look like a bargain!

Why pay IKF to strike out when you can pay him to strike people out? Great signing from Atkins.

We're building Sanchez up to 200 IP, season saved. Next week Shatkins will sign Josh Towers.

“Rogers, proud owner of the Toronto Blue Jays!”

Are they literally TRYING to destroy their brand? Lol.

OK, I’ll shut up. But my recurring comment for about two years has been that we need to commit to Danny with a contract. Buying out a couple of his post arbitration years. Especially once we decided to trade Gabrielle Moreno, we should’ve had Jansen lined up in advance. Nope. Even something as simple as that has been kicked down the road. He’s UFA next year.

Yep, just brutal management. This organization went forever without a competent catcher, only to have three. We traded one away, may lose one to free agency (or now overpay to keep him), and Kirk has forgotten how to hit. We may be back in the catching wilderness. Just terrible asset management.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

LOL. Mayza coming in instead of Swanson.

Schneider can't even make the obvious picks in an 8-1 game.

EDIT - Was Schneider ejected? Whomever is managing it is stupid.

He's following the Alek Manoah "how to end your career in the majors in 9 easy steps" playbook. I think hes on step 4 right now. Step 5 is getting sent down to the minors on a 'rehab" stint.

This team is a mess in so many regards. Team Mgmt, Players on Field (Offence, Pitching), Manager, Coaching.
Are we decent at anything right now.

the only time the bullpen shows up is when the game is already lost.

Showing video of John Schneider getting tossed for his rant, Evanka Osmak referred to him as ol' redface.

Oddly he was quite affable and jocular in postgame.

Gone soon I imagine.

Next 12 games or so are brutal and the way this team is playing, they'll be lucky to win 4 of them. I wouldn't be surprised to see him gone by the end of the Tampa series.

Are we facing a lefty today? If so thats probably why Varsho is out. Otherwise, this is another headscratcher of a lineup from Schneider and Co.

Varsho has been one of our best hitters against Lefties. Certainly better than KK.

We should have kept Anthopolous... I didn't agree with all his moves, and he did empty the cupboards of the farm system in attempts to compete. However, he was/is proactive, never shied away from the media and things were always exciting with him in charge. I remember he'd be a guest on shows like Bob McCowen and Tim & Sid all the time, and always was a straight shooter with his vision and his moves, it was so refreshing to listen to.

This Jays team currently has the worst Pythagorean win percentage (by run differential) of any Jays team since 1981.

It is fitting that this era will (hopefully) be ending with a historic level of futility from these clowns.
