Good. He can chuckle it up with Vogelbach in the dugout as though he's an important and integral part of this team. This entire franchise has become an embarrassment and laughing stock in the league. Zero accountability for anyone in this organization from top to bottom. Where mediocrity is rewarded and performance is punished. God it sucks being a Toronto sports fan. Between this clown show we're watching here, the eternal joke that is the Leafs, and the newly rebuilding Raptors, there is literally nothing fun or entertaining or even hopeful to look forward to. Maybe I should take up curling, or Golf.

He’s a 125 career wRC+ against RHP and a 35 career wRC+ against LHP. I can only presume the manager had no idea of that given his usage in last night’s game.

I tend to agree that you can’t have him on the roster any longer if the team is either too stupid or too unserious to make use of him properly though. Unfortunately we’re miles away from the common sense Gibbons days of managing.

I'm not sure there is a great role for Vogelbach even if well managed.

Generally, there are not that many hitters you want him to PH for unless he is the tying or go ahead run.

I'd rather bring in somebody like Horwitz who has more positional versatility and is not as slow.

Some guy on my fantasy league (10 team league) waived Cole Ragans last weekend - he streamed him out to bring in Luis Gil to claim the K category. Early candidate for dumbest fantasy league play of the year.

He got snarly at me when I questioned the logic of the move on the message board.

Unfortunately I didn't have the waiver priority to pick him up.

Sure there is. He’d have been a great pinch hit option to use with the team down 1 run in the late innings on Tuesday against some very tough RHPs.

He should have also looked at Cole's next start being against the Jays - a gimme quality start.
