You know what actually looks cool? Throwing the ball like a normal **** human and getting the out.
9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.

I’m sorry. But that’s stupid. You can get picked off there. How many ways do you want to screw us.

Ryan Goins with a bit more pop is what I called him earlier in the year, and a couple of people disagreed with me saying that was not accurate. Two months later with his hitting numbers further in the tank, and one of the worst hitting starting outfielders in all of MLB, the Ryan Goins comparison is accurate. You will just have to live with his hitting, with the defense he provides.

It’s a good point. No doubt Ohtani can play shortstop as well.
Merrifield and Espinal have that covered easily. Ohtani it's clearly a DH. Obviously you don't get Ohtani for Bichette your talking Bichette, Tiedemann, Orelvis Martinez, Zulueta plus.

I was just kidding. Actually paying homage to Ohtani’s multi-skill set.

Whose everyone's player that they would buy low on? Like a player whose having a down year but needs a change of scenery. I think Tyler O'Neill would be a good option as a platoon OF. Doesn't hurt to add another gold glover to give Springer or Kiermaier rest. I think Stroman is in play but can be keep his cool with John Schneider?

One of the worst offenses in mlb history only scored 1 run in the 20 innings? Shocking!

Only on pickoff attempts where he has to throw the ball hard, and fast lol.
Also ban the lineup nerds ...but wait, that will never happen.
Its all hope..."Gee,I hope they hit today",because the pitchers have been good enough that we should be even better.
Glad I have missed the last 2 games. Its too predictable. Its not baseball...its not even "trying to win baseball."
No idea what this is anymore. :banghead:
Only good thing is watching NY-Bos suck ass right now..but that wont last.

They found something..they really did against TB-20,and they trashed it.Its so obvious that Belt should be 4th,and Vlad should be at the 3 slot.Cant stick to the same lineup that wins. They dont know what they are doing. They are putting it all on Vlad, and Vlad is feeling it,and the HR derby thing was a good idea, but its not all about just Vlad.
Unwatchable even when we win, except for just before the A.S break.
Fix it nerds..fix it !

The Ryan Goins comparison is valid after looking at these Varsho hitting stats right now. Varsho is one of the worst hitting Starting Outfielders in all of MLB.

We arguably traded 2 better players, one being much younger at a premium position, for a non-hitting outfielder. If defense is that important in the OF, might as well sign Bradley Zimmer back and keep Gurriel/Moreno

This argument still makes no sense to me. Vlad isn't performing upto expectations period. Has nothing to do eith where he was hitting. In fact the reason they dropped him to 4th was because he was slumping. If he was consistently mashing he would've stayed at 3rd. Shifting the lineup around isn't gonna do ****.

Exactly. This will go down as one of the worst trades in Blue Jays history. 0-3 last night with 3 SO. This trade alone should get Atkins fired.

I've heard the argument on this board that Moreno can't hit, no power blah blah, yet he hasn't even reached 300 career at-bats. Varsho's been in the league long enough, and his average is now in Zimmer territory, soon to be in Derek Fisher territory. The bunt singles are keeping him afloat, some power eh?
