Literally lost the potential sweep last week in very similar fashion, although this time it was readily apparent we didn't really care at all about winning this one (Francis needs to be in for Judge there and you can figure out Friday's game when it comes).

Games like this are why this team will end up winning 90ish games at the end of the year again in a WC position rather than 95+.

What made you, or any competent MLB manager think that this guy was ready to be put into a save situation against the best hitting lineup in the AL? Same goes for Romano. This is also on Atkins for sending Pearson down yesterday, when they could’ve waited until the off day tomorrow to make this move, when they knew Green's arm was sore after Monday. You do not throw Swanson in the high leverage situation you did, when he has been struggling in his rehab appearances. Utter incompetence from Atkins to Schneider. What a disgrace.
