If they cared about winning baseball games, Manoah wouldn’t even be starting games as it is

So you warm up Garcia -- you get a run back. And then you start warming up Swanson for whatever reason.
If Swanson is coming in (I sure hope not), then WTF was the point of warming up Garcia.

It is too much common sense for this organization to have the same lineup as yesterday, since you want everyone to feel good and get playing time. Winning our first series in the past month is secondary.

Presumably to use Yimi if they tied or took the lead

Vibes from yesterday sufficiently gone. Looking forward to another joke lineup from this unserious franchise tomorrow.

Putting Springer back in leadoff and Bo 4th was basically an admission they didn't care about winning this one. Way to deflate the team with more idiotic lineup management. At this point ownership really needs to clean house, front office and coaching staff.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

Pitching regression plus even worse offense. It's gonna be a long year. Hopefully it's the last one we see of this FO and coaching staff.

This **** team can't even get out of its own way. Why would management change the line up right after they scored the most runs and hits in a game this season. **** pathetic..

I've been fooled by those sort of wins by this team before but not this time. I knew it was a fluke and nothing more.

Jansen not being in the lineup today would be inexcusable for any serious baseball franchise. We aren’t that, though, far from it.

Even when they scored 20 runs against TB last season, they had to change the lineup lol.
The Toronto(we make changes no matter how good we do)Blue Jays.
So its like the Jays are not allowed to have the same lineup that works for 2 consecutive games or more ?
Its like this has been mandated or something :banghead:

We know why we lose games, but we dont know why we win games, unless its a great start by a SP,and we get lucky with a timely hit or being HBP,or the other team makes errors,or walks our hitters.Lots of wins didnt feel good last year.
Except for Saturdays game,we hardly beat teams by outhitting them, and outscoring them.
The AA teams,we knew why we won,and wins were celebrated like yesterdays.
Seeing the same lineup after Saturdays win would have been great.
Caleb needs to ask Schneider and company these questions,or Blair/Barker do.

I'll take Manoah's performance as a positive (even if next time is a likely flip).

His trade value is limited, he is cost-controlled, and if we struggle and re-build, it will be important that he can at least be a 3rd/4th starter type. Maybe not possible, but its somewhere in the middle of now and 2022.

Run prevention strategy isn't working.
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

Vogelbach shouldn't even be on this team. He was theoretically not the worst acquistion in the world but he has performed awfully and management proceeds at the pace of an ice age to get rid of him.

Horwitz who did well last year and is crushing it in triple A should be the obvious replacement.

As for Springer at lead off on a day when Vogelbach and Kirk are in the lineup, what can I say that hasn't already been said?
