Again, do you think Fan590 hasn't been talking about Shohei Ohtani all week? What a bizarre thing to get upset about.

But Ohtani wasn’t on the plane. So either Rogers wants to scare him away with more chatter – something Ohtani apparently doesn’t like, or glory in their failure.

Ohtani can be on a plane or not be on a plane and it would have nothing to do with him remaining still very much fair game to talk about on the biggest sports radio network in the country. What should they talk about? The Raptors?

The only way this makes sense is if Rogers was feeling vulnerable due to the entire day’s events ,,,, So they put on two baseball guys to reiterate that they “know nothing”, and to report on Bob nightingale’s tweet. Trying to tamp down the noise.

Or the radio director at the Fan 590 just wanted to put people on to talk about Shohei Ohtani at a time when literally everyone else in the baseball world was talking about Shohei Ohtani.

Whatever makes the most sense though.

The “radio Director” should’ve just told Ross to disclose his location during that zoom call and include pictures of the meeting. Because we all know, the fan 590 radio Director pulls all the strings at Rogers. What he wants, he gets.

Sportsnet can't bring back Morosi as an insider after this. His credibility for MLB matters, was already suspect and now he does a major screw up involving a huge Toronto story.

I'm now gonna watch the Raptors probably lose to a terrible Hornets team so there's that

I'm gonna do some work over watching that mess, which is what I should have been doing instead of scrolling Twitter all day.

So who's eating all that sushi at that fancy restaurant tonight, then?

Honestly, Morosi blew a lot of credibility today.

Who cares about Ohtani when you can watch the raps down 16 to the Hornets.

So funny. Because apparently it is totally booked though......

... by a whole bunch of plebs in Raptors gear who called the restaurant to try to latch on to the event... None of whom have ever eaten blue fin or any kind of sushi before, and certainly weren't expecting to pay $250 per person tonight.

Word I’m hearing is it’s booked by someone named Robert Herjavec. Flew all the way here just to eat there, apparently.

Shi Davidi can get off his ****in high horse. Didn't even mention Morosi or the Dodgers writer. It was BBWA accredited writers that mainly fueled the speculation. Blaming it all on fan gossip vs real journalism is hilarious.

I think morosi was paid by dodgers and or mlb to do that tweet 100%.

Since Roberts fd up and admitted to Ohtani meeting, dodgers went in to scramble mode and paid morosi to make it look like jays leak stuff. I think MLB and Dodgers in on this. They dont want their biggest star in Canada and lose all the american eyeballs and tv rating dollars.

Nah, Morosi is just a fraud that took a chance he'd be right to gain some clout. He guessed and guessed wrong, hardly for the first time.
