Where would this team be without Davis Schneider? And to think this front office was trying to pigeonhole him into a platoon role for no good reason.

Also, all that grey behind home plate needs to go. Who thought grey was what fans wanted to look at for an entire ball game? The Dome has always been criticized for too much concrete. Why add more grey? Just a terrible decision - can't believe it was ever approved.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

Thats actually exactly what hes saying right now. "We believe in our players, we believe in our talent. Its a process..." etc etc.

If I were underperforming at work, I would be at risk of losing my job, while these privileged athletes making millions get a pass. It's unfair and it infuriates me!

Where is Springer? Wasn't he brought in to be a leader? He's making $25 million only to lay an egg this season.

The top 4 went 0-16 last night with a pitcher with an ERA over 5 for the season. How can you not make changes at this point?? Nothing is working with this group. I think I'm done with Toronto Blue Jays baseball this season. **** this FO.

Ya basically said what you'd expect him to say, nothing earth shattering...

- we've had the toughest schedule in baseball to this point, things are starting to turn in our favor

- we have belief that Bichette, Vladdy and Springer will turn it around

- support for Schneider as manager

- lineup decisions are made collectively

- the contending window doesnt end with this group because lots of talent in the farm system, no urgency to bring up Orelvis yet, needs time to develop defensively

- replacing Vogelbach with someone from the minors doesnt make sense because Vogy only playing once per week, if they bring someone up they want him to play everyday

- front office feels the urgency everyday, will make a trade if its for an impactful player that adds wins, but will be mindful of the cost, whether it's prospects or current players on roster

Yes, that’s what this FO does. They probably still believe their process is sound even now.

Springer moved down the lineup.

unfortunately I don't think that will make a difference with this group.

Yeah, we don’t really have much in the way of people you can justify at the top of the order, so whoever we choose is going to have reasons why it’s not the right call.

This is the worst Toronto sports has ever been, right? Like at least since we had 3 of the big 4…? **** dumpster fire. One regular season juggernaut that’s a running joke come post season and 2 losing franchises who go into every season trying to win…yech.

Every win just extends the life of this FO a little longer. Yes, I hate watching this bad baseball but the losing is the only way to affect change in this organization.

Mid-May and Davis Schneider is your best hitter. Shatkins baseball.

He's been their best hitter since he came up last year. There's no shame in that as good as he's been since then.

What is shameful is this team apparently somehow didn't recognize that until like a week ago.

Opinion seems to be hardening that Shapiro is the stadium/board/money guy and Atkins is to blame for all the baseball oriented aspects. Do you guys believe that’s accurate?
