That damn homerun DERBY!! Why Wright? YOUR BETTER THEN THAT!!! Damnit and then Alou(can't blame him much, GIDP... Man this team cannot hit in the clutch. We are one of the worst in the NL with less then .250 BA w/RISP.

Yeah Wright is trying to jack everything. That second fastball on the outter half of the plate was a pitch he used to crush to right center. Now he's just watching it sail it on by. :nonono: :nonono: :nonono:

Am I the only one that think Wright should go talk to HoJo or maybe even Beltran.

It's not going to help because Wright knows what he's doing wrong. It's 100% mental right now. He knows he has the loop in his swing and he knows he's trying to jack every pitch, it's just mentally he can't make the adjustment while up at the plate.

Horrible loss. Mets should have won 6-4.

Uhhh because the Marlins should have never scored 5 runs in that inning if Easley didn't drop that weak ass liner. Inning should have been OVER.

So then play defense. No one is supposed to win 6-4 if they don't play defense. If the ball hit a rock on the dirt or hit a base or took a bad hop...I understand, but your player didn't do his job. Therefore, you don't deserve anything.

And that one play didn't score 5 runs....there aren't 5-run plays in baseball. After the non-error, a team is supposed to settle down and re-concentrate on making good pitches and running down bloopers. That didn't happen. They went on and made a real error that scored another run.

You weren't supposed to win tonight.

You're right, we lost, now go talk baseball with the throngs of delirious Marlins fans on the Marlins board. I didn't see you around here when we we kicked your ass earlier in the season, outscoring the fishies 20-5.

Because it wasn't convenient for me to do so at that time.

Marlins got lucky..pretty much.

Easley should of caught that and Reyes should of caught another. This team needs a kick in the butt.

Alou is ok and back in the lineup tonight!

David Wright has been moved up into the 2 hole. :-? Obviously to try and get him too see more fastballs and hit the other way if Reyes gets on base. Wright just needs to get out of his mental funk. FAST!

Pelfrey must show some progress tonight or he could be sent down and Sosa brought up. Then again, Park sucked last night so Pelfrey might stick around a bit longer no matter what. Pelfrey, like David Wright is screwed up mentally and both are showing lack of confidence and questioning themselves right now. Eventually both will work out of it, lets hope it's tonight!

Lets go Mets!!!
