Not going to worry too much about advancing in the tournament bc its very unlikely and almost out of our control if we win. Lets just win and win by as much as we can lol

I feel like the officiating could trigger me before the 1st quarter is over in this game.

Pacers are a lock, Bucks have a chance to be a lock. Magic might be in, just depends if the Celtics or Nets can win and by how much.

Like you said, the final spot in the East, even if the Cavs win doesn't guarantee anything unless they can beat the Hawks by like 50 lol

This is what I’m talking about. Cavaliers offense functions like a well oiled machine but Mitchell is still able to dominate.

Welp that is all you can ask for in this game. Sucks we didn't smack the Pistons or beat the Pacers, but that is the past

Great win and Mitchell looks to have gotten his shot back. Still carefully eyeing how he gets his points, but it still looks better when the shots are going down

I'm not mad about it. They hand out the real trophy in June, and the Cavs might have an embarrassment of riches if they get healthy.

This is the rub with Mitchell, no? Is it more likely that he plays more team ball, but can still be your go to scorer vs. moving him for a player who is an equivalent scorer and also provides something Mitchell does not?
Well at least we're not Detroit!

We don't know. Let's get healthy and see if we can win against good defensive teams.

I will say, 19 rebounds and 7 blocks by Mobley is bonkers.

7 assists 0 TO for Strus is nice too.

I mean....the latter sounds like a better player so don't see how that would happen. I think you would have to mean a good but lesser scorer that brings something else.

It's moot I think deep down if you love him or hate him we all have to know the cavs are not bold enough to back track on there crown Jewel trade target. We all can talk about it but barring a request or total implosion does anyone actually think they would deal him unless they were forced into it

Mitchell still just 3 for 11 from deep in this one and had 6 TOs vs 5 AST.

Idk, seems like a very familiar story to me, personally. Blowing out a mediocre team in regular season game 18 is cool but i see only 6 guys JB trusts (with a positive +/- in this one).

Maybe Koby shakes up the back half of the roster midseason and finds some guys JB trusts off the bench outside of LeVert, not sure but playoff success is dependent on it, to be sure.

He completely hijacked the offense 3rd quarter. He took like the first 6 shots. Worked today. Plenty of times where that can backfire and that's the reality of where we are with him.

The scoring ability is the key for me. As soon as you move Mitchell folks will be talking about how we need a scorer down the stretch.

He had about 4 mistakes in those three minutes. He didn't have it tonight.

They're not gonna fire JB or trade Mitchell this season.

My only hope is if Mitchell turns down the extension for the 2nd summer in a row, they're smart enough to trade him on the spot.

I’m surprised no one has mentioned Mobleys absurd stat line… 17/19 with 7 blocks. What a game.

Mitchell dropped a "disappointed to miss the trip to Las Vegas, we'll just have to get there next year" in his postgame interview w/ Serena Winters in the arena, which shows a touch of long-term investment on his part.

Nope, he didn't, and if he isn't amazing every minute he's on the floor, will JBB even bother to give him 3 minutes?

At least players got their breaks and he didn't feel the need to play anyone more than 38 minutes.

And something about the Hawks, but it's always fun to beat them.
