well, we don't have it. I thought we should have one. I know there is only 3 or so of us in here, but hell, everything has to start somewhere, right?

anywho, just wanted to give a shout out to Kilroy for stopping by at the clipper forum during the Sterling fiasco. thanks again man. that was classy of you.

KIlroy, do you mind stickie-ing this thread? I would like to have a place to chat about things that aren't necessarily about the dodgers with little family we have here.

PS-nevermind, it is already on top of the page above this season's game thread.

Spent all day at the Round Rock Express/New Orleans Zephyrs 3A game... Glad we don't have any prospects on the Express... They suck... But it was Cinco De Mayo and a day at the park is better than a day at work anytime...

More of an escape from the crazy housing market...

ah, I hear ya. pretty much the same here. LA has way too much competition for my profession, and here in rural Oregon I can actually afford to live pretty well. my house here is twice the size of my sister's in LA but costed 1/3 of hers. Texas is pretty sweet that they have no state income tax either.

funny and ironic, we have 3 diehard dodger posters in here and non of us currently reside in California.

BTW, I'm sorry for your school's tragedy, Kilroy and Quake. even though for you Kilroy, it has been decades since being on that campus as a student and Quake i think is a couple of years out since graduation, but what happened in Goleta, near UCSB campus should not have happened. as a father, watching Richard Martinez' interview was very difficult to handle.

my condolences.

Hey Quake, don't waste your time arguing with Skaterdude on the GB... It's like burning ants with a magnifying glass... Sure they make a satisfying fizzle, but they're only drones, and there's millions more of them.

**** me... just finished labor day BBQ with the family and got a call that my assistant is quitting without 2 weeks notice, moving back to cali tomorrow. I wonder if her husband is running from the law..... I gotta stop taking chances on people with questionable background who just sounds sincere. **** **** ****.

hey! got me a real good assstant finally! I Have to say skill wise she is behind, but attitude and professionalism wise, and other tangibles, she is a keeper. just thought I share that with you.

the office is starting to find its groove, it has been in a bit of a flux since my trusty, long time lead assistant moved to another state when her whole family relocated two years ago.

family is good too man. I know I talked a little about arguing with my wife the other day, but we are all good now.

thanks for your encouragements as always. you are a good friend, even tho we have actually never met.

Happy Holidays!
