Thome, Hall to go on rehab assignment
Pair of White Sox to appear with Triple-A Charlotte

Jim Thome, currently on the 15-day disabled list with a strain in his right ribcage, will be joining Hall in Charlotte. The White Sox designated hitter could be back in action by Tuesday night's series opener against the Yankees at U.S. Cellular Field, with Hall's timetable to complete the comeback a little less rigid.

Good to see Toby Hall working his way back in to shape ALREADY! That bat off the bench could be great for us considering Gustavo Molina is still batting .000 with 1 RBI two months into the season.

Gustavo sucks and hopefully Ozzie isn't a dumbarse and use Hall at 1B again.

What I'm hating is that as soon as Thome comes up, Ozzie wents to send Sweeney down. That's pure stupidity.
