We would have been slotted 11th even if we lost it. Your lotto position only changes if you make the playoffs.

That's so odd. He didn't even play for them or anything.

Would you trade with Portland, #11and their pick back for #7 ? Would that make sense? At least we get something out of it, maybe get a 2nd too this draft?

I don’t know why Portland would do that. The pick we have of theirs isn’t worth 4 spots in the lottery. It’s virtually useless. But sure I’d do that for Chicago no doubt.

Unless they're getting Markannen, i don't see it.

It would be hilarious if Atlanta now trades Murray instead of Young on the belief Sarr’s D will cover for Trae.

The Rockets could use Rob Dillingham.

Portland would regain their freedom to trade a first rounder.

No thanks from POR.

#11 is not a bad pick to have in this draft.

Portland should be at least two years away from even thinking about trading any more firsts. They aren't likely to accidentally sneak into the playoffs any time soon and give it away to us either. :noway:

As for the lottery results, well at least we aren't Detroit. Lotto balls screwed them two years in a row.

I mean that's the correct thing to do.

Can't build a winner around Murray.

One of the worst draft classes to have the number one pick, I’m okay with no.11. Hell, I’d be looking to trade this years pick for a future pick.

What spot would that have put the Bulls in?

Never mind. I see that it would've been the #1 pick. Yay play-in win!

It went about the best the Spurs could hope for. Move up one spot and also keep the Raptors pick.

Now they can either use one pick and trade the other or keep both. Good options to build around Wembanyama. Raptors fans are probably disappointed.

Also, the Pistons are unlucky back-to-back drafts.

The Pistons falling out of the top 4, may actually result in them being higher on Zach than they were during the season. Hopefully his agent on their management have been cultivating a relationship and plan to get Zach on board with living and playing there.

Sarr

Markkanen and Trae might work well together.

Bulls don’t know who yet, but they’re definitely getting “their guy” at #11. On top of this, they’re essentially adding two all-stars for free by getting Lonzo back and by resigning Demar. Then you factor the double-double machine and two emerging all stars in Ayo and Coby and we’re pretty happy with what we have!

So how about them Spurs? Getting 4 & 8 to the farm? They have a lot of options now. I wouldn’t necessarily go for pricey vets, but they can make cap space by moving Vassell, Keldon, and Collins.

They could patiently build this or do some major consolidation trades.

They also have our 25 pick, which back in the day I had zero worries about, but now I fully understand a #11 pick is heading to San Antonio next year. I should save this post to brag about my prediction.
